Licence and logbook review, reference check and a practical check flight. The induction fee filters for pilots we'd put our certificate behind.

One session covering our procedures, currency requirements and insurance onboarding. You fly as our pilot, under our operational control.

Fly authorised jobs
Submit a job pack in the DroneNexus app. Standard-conditions flights are authorised within set parameters; everything else goes to the Chief Remote Pilot. Every flight logged, every record kept.

Questions
Straight answers
Do I need my own ReOC to fly with NexusOps? +
No. You fly as part of our operation, under our certificate and operations manual. You need a current RePL for the aircraft category, and to pass our vetting and induction.
What can I fly, and where? +
Multirotor aircraft up to 25 kg within our certificate. Base membership covers standard operating conditions; Pro adds approval-based operations we hold, such as night flying, as they come onto the certificate.
How do flight authorisations work? +
You submit a job pack in the DroneNexus app — location, aircraft, risk items. Flights inside standard conditions and set parameters are authorised automatically; anything outside goes to the Chief Remote Pilot for review. Every authorisation and log is kept on record.
What about insurance? +
Jobs flown under a NexusOps authorisation are covered by the operation's public liability policy. Cover details and any excess arrangements are set out plainly during induction.

Many members eventually do — and we'll help you graduate when you're ready. Members stay for what a certificate alone doesn't give you: the software, the dispatched work, and approvals that take time to earn.
